Awarded Grant by UC Irvine Division of Undergraduate Education
Associate Professor Judith Sandholtz has been awarded a grant from the Assessment Grant Program administered through the Division of Undergraduate Education at UC Irvine. This one-year research project will focus on assessment of student learning in the department’s undergraduate minor in Educational Studies program. The grant will provide support for three main faculty-based activities: (1) identification of student learning outcomes for the Educational Studies minor; (2) assessment of one or more student learning outcomes through collection and analysis of student learning evidence; and (3) use of results for improving student learning in the Educational Studies minor.
Dr. Sandholtz’s research interests include teacher professional development, teacher education, and school-university partnerships.
