Department Establishes Mary Roosevelt Honor Scholar in Teaching and Learning Scholarship

The Department of Education has established the Mary Roosevelt Honor Scholar in Teaching and Learning Scholarship in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Program. The scholarship has been created in recognition of Ms. Roosevelt's contributions to the field of education.

The Department will be awarding the scholarship for highly qualified incoming students to the UC Irvine Master of Arts in Teaching, a 15-month program that includes coursework, student teaching, and preparation for the teacher credential.
