Abstract
The vision of our University-School partnerships promotes a culture committed to preparing future teachers, embraces university engagement in the school community, allows for ongoing and reciprocal professional development, provides a space for action research, creates a structure for shared oversight and collaboration, and encourages people to work across institutional settings in both formal and informal roles. Key components of the partnership include: paired collaborative fieldwork experiences, field-based practicums, and collaboration among clinical mentors and university faculty.
